Cookie Policy

This policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on acusticax.com. Our site is designed to be lightweight and privacy-friendly: we do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.

A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser. It is used, for example, to remember preferences or to keep the site working.

2. Cookies we use

We only use technical, necessary cookies and storage, which are exempt from the prior-consent requirement:

  • WordPress technical cookies: needed for the site to work and, where applicable, to identify your session if you log in as a user.
  • Language preference: to show the site in Spanish or English.
  • Tools’ local storage: some apps save settings or your history on your own device (localStorage) to improve your experience. This information is not sent to our servers.

We do not use Google Analytics, Google AdSense or advertising.

First-party analytics without cookies

To find out which content is read the most we use Matomo, an analytics tool hosted on our own server: the data is never shared with third parties nor used for advertising. We have configured it without cookies, so nothing is stored on your device, and with IP anonymisation. That is why you don’t need to accept anything to browse acusticax.com.

When you click an Amazon affiliate link or any external link, it is the destination site that may set its own cookies according to its policy. We have no control over those cookies; we recommend reviewing the privacy and cookie policy of each site you visit.

4. How to manage or delete cookies

You can allow, block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Check your browser’s help (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari…) to learn how. Note that disabling technical cookies may affect how the site works.
